Bioscience Internships

Connecting Students with Opportunity.

Students need real-world experience. Companies need young, eager minds. Internships have always been a good solution for such situations, even more so in the bioscience industry because learning comes through collaboration. Also, internships keep students interested in the industry and give employers a pool of potential employees. Therefore, the Memphis Bioworks Foundation wants to ensure that students have the best chance available to receive a bioscience internship.

One of the Foundation's most ambitious projects, the Bioworks InternNet is an internship portal under development. We anticipate this program becoming a gateway of opportunity for everyone involved. Students with access to the Bioworks InternNet through their schools can pinpoint potential internships, apply for a position or post a resume, and check their hiring status. Simultaneously, companies may search the database for the ideal intern to fill open positions. The exchange that will occur through Bioworks InternNet promises to be the best recruitment and placement tool for qualified students in Tennessee.
