MCAN Launch Links Memphis to a World of Research

In one of the most visible collaborative initiatives ever in Memphis, the Memphis Coalition for Advanced Networking (MCAN) inaugurated its ultra high-speed fiber-optic communications network in June. The event at the University of Memphis FedEx Institute of Technology became a virtual who’s who of the Memphis education, technology, medical, bioscience, research, distribution, as well as local and state economic development and political worlds.  more »

Meet Regina Whitley

Regina is Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Foundation and Executive Director of the Memphis Bioworks Business Association. With these two areas of responsibility, her work serves as the information front door for much of the Bioworks community.  more »

Innova Launches
Angel Network

One of the keys to a successful entrepreneurial community in a metro area is engagement of local investors. In late April, Innova further expanded its leadership position in finding, funding and growing early-stage growth companies with the launch of the Mid-South Angel Network (MSAN).  more »

UT-Baptist Research Park — Dudley Filled

Progress continues at the UT-Baptist Research Park, as new buildings near completion and the 20 South Dudley Tower nears full occupancy.

Most visible to those passing along Union Avenue is that the RBL is up and now ready to start operations, while the UT Pharmacy School building progresses on schedule. For many, the real story is what is not visible from the street.  more »

InMotion’s Focus on Increased Collaboration
